October23, 2004 - The Tornadoes Swim Club ended day two of the AB Short Course Swim Meet with a commanding lead over the Y-Speedos....points standing....results

October22, 2004 - The AB Short Course Swim Meet started yesterday with the distance events being swum at the National Stadium Pool. After two events, the Y-Speedos (20) lead the Tornadoes Swim Club (16) by four points. 

October 3, 2004 - Swimming for Notre Dame University, Jamaica's Raine Paulson Andrews and Cayman Islands Laura Stafford place third in the 50 yard (25.52) and 200 yard (1:59.89) Freestyle respectively in dual meet with Evansville....results

August 1, 2004 - The Blue Seal Invitational Swim Meet results have finally been posted to the results page. We are sorry for the delay...CISC got in the way!...results

JULY

July 30, 2004 - The Jamaica Olympic Association has announced Jamaica's Olympic Games Swim Team. The team comprises four swimmers: Sydney veterans Janelle Atkinson and Angela Chuck and newcomers Alia Atkinson and Jevon Atkinson. They will be Coached by Jackie Walter, while John Eyre will accompany the team as Manager. The team will fly out  on Air Jamaica on Saturday August 7.

June 29, 2004 - Preparations for the XV Caribbean Island Swimming Championships move into high gear - swimmers from six (6) teams arrive in the island today!

June 25, 2004 - The ASAJ Has selected 86 swimmers to represent Jamaica at the 2004 Caribbean Island Swimming Championships to be held at the National Stadium Pool July 1-6, 2004

June 25, 2004 - The Blue Seals Swim Meet dives in to action tomorrow. The meet, which is the final local competition on the swimming calendar, is being used as a dress rehearsal for next weeks CISC being hosted by Jamaica

June 12, 2004 - Hungarian Water Polo Team BVSC visits Jamaica to train with National Team preparing for the CISC and the Pan  American Junior Water Polo Championships

March 27, 2004 - Another world best time for Bovell and Auburn and the NCAA Championships

March 26, 2004 - Trinidad's George Bovell swims 1:53.93 to set a new short course 200-meter individual medley World Record at the NCAA Championships!!! Congratulations George!!

March 24, 2004 - The Jamaica Olympic Association has selected swimmer Gillian Millwood (Y-Speedos) and Vishauntha Tolan (Badminton) to represent Jamaica at the Athens 2004 Youth Camp....congratulations Gillian!!

January 5, 2004 - Trinidad's Linda McEachrane wins 4 races to help Tulane University beat Radford and Georgia Southern in a double dual meet

January 3, 2004 - The No. 3 ranked Florida women's swimming and diving team and the fifth-ranked men's squad both defeated Kentucky in dual meets Saturday morning at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. January 1, 2004 - WOW! 2004 is here already...where did 2003 go? We ALL must have been having fun swimming and not seen time flying by! The ASAJ wishes that 2004 is a peaceful and prosperous year for everyone. With a new ASAJ Executive in place, CISC being hosted at the National Stadium Pool and 2004 being an Olympic Year, we expect this to be a fantastic year for the sport of swimming in Jamaica. Our swimmers and coaches need support and we look forward to a great team effort...HAVE A GREAT ONE!
