CARIFTA NEWS April 8, 2007 - After two days of exciting competition, in which twenty seven meet records were broken (12 on day 1 and 15 on day 2), the French Antilles leads from Bahamas and Trinidad. April 4, 2007 - The first 151 persons (swimmers, officials and supporters) from 3 participating countries arrived today. The teams here are from Bermuda, Bahamas and French Guyana. JAMAICA IS PLEASED TO HOST THE 2007 CARIFTA SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS APRIL 7-10 AT THE NATIONAL STADIUM POOL IN KINGSTON. CARIFTA 2007 (Jamaica) will include two disciplines; Swimming and Synchronized Swimming. The CARIFTA Waterpolo competition will be held in the Netherlands Antilles.
