Mar 28 - The majority of the team from Netherland Antilles will not be travelling to Jamaica. This withdrawal caused the elimination of the 16 & Under Male waterpolo competition and the synchronized swimming team competition for the 12 & Unders.

Jan 28 - News Update #1 Jan 25 - Jamaica is expecting to host over seven hundred (700) visitors from thirteen (13) Caribbean islands for the championships. That number includes swimmers, team officials, technical judges and supporters. Jan 8 - The Application Form for persons wishing to work as Technical Officials is now available. Please note that the application date has been extended to January 23, 2010. Jan 5 - Preliminary entries have began to come in. Please remember that entries are due this Friday, January 8. JAMAICA IS PLEASED TO HOST THE 2010 CARIFTA SWIMMING COMPETITION APRIL 3-6, 2010 AT THE NATIONAL STADIUM POOL IN KINGSTON. The following countries have been invited to participate:
