Jamaicans, if you want
to swim for Jamaica, you must be a current member of
the Amateur Swimming Association of Jamaica. It's
easy!
Swimmers wishing to compete in
a competition sanctioned by FINA, the ASAJ or another
Swimming Federation, must be registered with an Association
recognized by FINA.
Foreign swimmers wishing to compete in a Jamaican
Competition must be registered by a FINA affiliated
Member Federation (FINA
GR3).
In Jamaica, registration is not required to compete
in a Development or Schools Competition. When registering,
a swimmer may associate themselves to a Member Club or
as Unattached.
If
you wish to register with the ASAJ, submit a
completed
Registration Application Form, a copy of
your birth certificate and the application fee to
the ASAJ Office (ASAJ
Bylaw BL6 and Procedure
BLP8.1).
You may associate yourself with a club or simply
register "unattached".
