• Jamaican CCCAN Team Member, second in 50 Free, life time best times in 100 m (1:04.97) and 200 m (2:23.74) Butterfly, 50 Free.

• Qualified for US Open.

• 2001 Mid Continent Athlete of the year.

• NCAA B time qualifier.

• Nominated for NCAA athlete of the year for Michigan.

• Made 2001 Mid continent all team conference.

ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2002:

• Selected to Jamaica's 2002 Commonwealth Games Swim Team

INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS: 

• Represented Jamaica at CARIFTA

• Represented Jamaica at Caribbean Island Swimming Championships

• Represented Jamaica at Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championships.

• Represented Jamaica at the 1999 Pan American Games

• Mid-Continent athlete of the year for 2000, Mid-Continent athlete of the month December 2000,

• Golden Grizzly of the week,

• Given Mid Continent All American Academics. Tamara is also the captain of the Golden Grizzly Swim Team.
