National Squad Selection Committee
The Council of the ASAJ will appoint a Selection Committee that comprises five (5) members.
The following persons shall be members of the Selection Committee:

- The National Head Coach.
- Assistant Head Coach.
- Chairman Technical Committee.
- Two other members selected by Council one of whom will be appointed as Chairperson.

The Selection Committee will be responsible for:

- Selecting Members of the National Squad based on swimmer performances and demonstrated commitment (selections will be submitted to Council for ratification). The Junior National Squad will be limited to 30 swimmers.
- Selecting teams for National Competition – all ASAJ registered swimmers are eligible for selection providing they satisfy the meet's nationality/residence requirements (selections will be submitted to Council for ratification).
