While the Y-Speedos Swim Club continued their recent winning ways by winning the overall high points trophy, it was Brad Hamilton (Tornadoes Swim Club) who won the hearts of a fair size crowd at the National Stadium Pool as he broke six (6) National Age Group Records, and swam 8 quad A times.

After taking the lead on Friday afternoon, the Y-Speedos never looked back and finished with 1103 points pushing the Tornadoes Swim Club (910) into second place. The Marlins Swim Club, who scored heavily in the 8 & Under and 9-10 age groups took the third place spot with 238.

Brad Hamilton, fresh off his 10 Gold Medal performance at the CARIFTA Swimming Champs, continued to dominate the 11-12 age group with more high class performances. Of his ten swims, eight (8) attained AAAA (quad A) performance rankings, while the other two (2) were AAA (triple A) times.  In the 1500 M Freestyle, Hamilton swam 18:57.76 to take more than 6 seconds off Andrew Phillips 11-12 National Age Group and All Comers Age Group Records set in 1974, 28 years ago. Hamilton was just as impressive in the 11-12 200 M Butterfly, when he touched in 2:26.23 to break Allan Marsh's 27 year old National Age Group and All Comers Age Group Records. Hamilton also lowered his own 11-12 200 M Freestyle National and All Comers Age Group records set at CARIFTA 2002, swimming 2:10.14. Scoring 92 points, Hamilton won the 11-12 age group individual performance trophy.
