TORNADOES SWIM CLUB PRESS RELEASE SEVEN TORNADOES OFF TO WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS December 12, 2002....A seven-member team representing the Tornadoes Swim Club depart on Thursday 12th December 2002, to compete in the Speedo Total Teamwares Winter Championships. The meet is being held in Plantation, Florida from December 12th through to 15th. The meet has attracted approximately 900 swimmers from Florida and the Caribbean region. National Representative Brad Hamilton who will compete for the first time in the 13-14 age group will lead the Tornadoes Team. He will swim in 7 events, which he goes into highly seeded. His previous times rank him in 3rd place in the 50yds Freestyle and 200yds Butterfly. Other team members are Renee Wright, Tamari Farquharson, Faith Phinn, Robert Chen, Stefan Brown and Dominic Walter. Coaches Barrington Brown and Jacky Walter will accompany the team.
