
The Amateur Swimming Association will be holding its annual general meeting at 7:00pm in the Bougainvilla Room, Liguanea Club on Wednesday December 3, 2003.
This meeting will see the election of new officers for the Association for the period 2004-2006, and comes at a crucial period, particularly as significant efforts are being made to focus the Association on the development of swimming in the inner-city communities as well as on the other aquatic disciplines of Water-Polo and Synchronized Swimming.
The Associations’ plans for the further development of aquatics in Jamaica will be be presented at this meeting and the election of a team to execute these plans over the next two years will be a crucial endorsement by the membership of the direction the Association has taken in recent years.
