ALIA WINS 4 GOLD AT FLORIDA GOLD COAST SPRINT CHAMPS

December 24, 2003....Alia Atkinson showed why she is one of the best swimmers in the Caribbean when she took 4 gold medals and a silver at the inaugural Florida Gold Coast sprint Championships held in Fort Lauderdale. Her victories came in the 50 yard Breaststroke, 50 yard Freestyle, 50 yard Butterfly, 100 Yard Individual Medley. She was not the only regional swimmer on the medal podium as fellow Olympic hopefuls Bradley Ally and Panamanian Ismael Ortiz captured three gold collectively.
