BRAD AND RAINE WIN  GOLD MEDALS AT CCCAN 2003

July 2, 2003….Raine Paulson-Andrews and Brad Hamilton held Jamaica’s flag high in Mexico City when they won Gold at the Central American and Caribbean Island Swimming Championships currently in the final day of competition.

Paulson-Andrews time of 27.50 to not only good enough to win the Gold Medal in the 15-17 50 M Freestyle, but it also qualified her for this summers PAN AM Games.

In the 13-14 Male 50 M Freestyle, Brad Hamilton took the Gold touching in 24.50 knocking an incredible 1.04 seconds Jamaica’s National Age Group Record which “Super Brad” himself had set at the CARIFTA Swimming Championships just 3 months ago. Just 13 years old, Hamilton now seem to threaten Sion Brinns National record of 23.29, just 1.21 seconds away.

Congratulations Raine and Brad!
