
RAYNAE HALL AND MATTHEW
HILTON STRIKE GOLD IN PANAMA
December 14, 2003……After three days of swimming against 32
teams from 21 countries 'Y' Speedos are in 12th place in the X111 International
Delfin De Oro Swim Meet in Panama City.
The medal tally is led by 8 & Under
girl Raynae Hall who has won three gold medals in the 50m Freestyle, 50m
Backstroke and the 50m Butterfly, she has one silver in the 200m Individual
medley and a bronze medal in the 50m Breaststroke. Matthew Hilton follows
closely with a gold medal in the 11-12 boys 100m Breaststroke in a personal
best time of 1:15.11, a silver medal in
the 50m Freestyle and a bronze in the
100m Butterfly. 8 & under boy Corey Richards swam a personal best time to
win a silver medal in the 50m freestyle.
With a medal tally of 4 gold, 3 silver
and 2 bronze medals the ten member team continues in action tomorrow - Monday,
and are due to return home on Thursday after a two day rest in Panama along
with Coach Lynval Lowe and Manager Stewart Spencer.
