November 3, 2003 The Tornadoes Swim Club returned to the island, from the Mike Lockwood Memorial Swim Meet held in Grand Cayman form Oct 30th to Nov 2nd, 2003, with a medal haul of 24 Gold, 27 Silver and 24 Bronze medals. Jason Adams swimming in the 11-12 age group was the outstanding performer winning 9 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals. High point trophies were won by Megan DeLeon in the 9-10 girls, Dominic Walter 9-10 boys and Brian Forte 11-12 boys. The competition was very exciting with a number of swimmers doing personal best times. The club placed second with 24 swimmers, a very creditable performance. Tornadoes Swim Club |
