JAMAICA
BEAT BAHAMAS AND TRINIDAD TO MOVE INTO CARIFTA WATER POLO SEMI-FINALS
The
Jamaican male water polo team had a good day defeating the Bahamas 14-8 and Trinidad
6-3 to move into the semi-finals in
second place. Jamaica will
play third place Trinidad, for a place in the
final which will be played Sunday evening.
Top
scorers for Jamaica against
the Bahamas
were Christopher Sloley (3) and Dwayne Campbell who
scored three each. Peyton Bhoorasingh scored two (2)
as did Troy Palomino and Zowdie Coke while Daniel Arscott scored one (1).
Already
assured a place in the semis, Jamaica
played Trinidad to decide the order of finish in
the preliminary round. Gwayne Ross, Christopher Sloley, Dwayne Campbell, Nicholas Vaughn, Marlon McIntyre
and Troy Palomino all scored one (1) goal each.
