 ‘Y’ SPEEDOS’ KARL DALHOUSE MEMORIAL SPRINT SWIM MEET

 

The ‘Y ‘Speedos’ Karl Dalhouse Memorial Sprint Swim Meet dives off on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 8.30 a.m. at the National Stadium Pool.  For this year only, the new look meet will be a one day sprint meet, with the final session beginning at 4.00 p.m. on the same day.

 

Approximately 380 swimmers from eight (8) Clubs are registered to take part and there will be some exciting races in this fast moving competition.  The host club, ‘Y’ Speedos will lead their defence of the trophy with national swimmers Matthew Stewart, Alford Green, Matthew Hilton, Ramon Walton, Rohan Johnson, Gillian Stewart, Gillian Millwood.  Leading contenders, Tornadoes, will have their attack spearheaded by Brad Hamilton, Jason Adams and Tamari Farqhuarson.

 

In the Masters Competition, for swimmers 25 years and over, swimmers from ‘Y’ Speedos, Electric Eels and Marlins will be competing.  Tornadoes, the defending champions from last year will not be defending their title.
