MAYBERRY INVESTMENTS SPONSORS SCHOOL SWIM MEET AGAIN

February 14, 2005

In 1998, Mayberry Investments Ltd. and the Amateur Swimming Association of Jamaica (ASAJ) forged a relationship with two primary objectives:

  1. Developing schools swimming;
  2. Teaching our young people the importance of investing in their own future;

Each year, over 1,100 Prep, Primary, High School and University Swimmers have entered the Mayberry Investments Schools Swimming Competition, making it one of the two biggest and most exciting swim meets to be held in Jamaica.

Through it’s unique offer of awarding stocks to each event winner, Mayberry Investments has ignited a bit of the entrepreneurial sprit that everyone one of us has. Throughout the year, parents quite often refer to the interest that their child has taken in their little investment.

The 8th renewal of the Mayberry Investments Schools swimming competition which will be held February 17 and 18, 2005, looks set to be another exciting event.

A new feature of this years competition is the introduction of three new trophies which the Prep, Primary and High Schools will vie for in the coming years;

  1. The Champion Prep/primary School (Combined);
  2. The Champion Girls High School; and
  3. The Champion Boys High School;
