FIFTY SCHOOLS ENTER MAYBERRY INVESTMENTS SCHOOL SWIM MEET

Nine hundred and forty five (945) swimmers from fifty (50) schools have entered the Mayberry Investments Schools Swim Competition which dives into action tomorrow, February 17, at the National Stadium Pool.

The first day of competition will see Excelsior Primary defending their Primary School title against four other primary schools, while Hillel Academy Prep School will be working hard to keep the Mayberry Investments Overall Champions Trophy in Norbrook.

The High Schools will compete on Friday. St. Andrew High will be hoping to end the recent dominance of Immaculate Conception who has won the Girls title for the last five (5) years. Male Champion Campion College will probably see their main competition coming from Kingston College, with Brad Hamilton who recently competed at the FINA World Cup in New York, and St. Georges College. St. Georges are weakened by the absence of nine of their top swimmers who will be competing for Jamaica Age Group Water Polo Team in the Fort Lauderdale.

The morning session will start at 8:30 AM on both days with the afternoon session starting at 2:00 PM. ….click here for competition fact sheet
