RAINE PAULSON-ANDREWS QUALIFIES FOR BIG EAST CONFERENCE FINALS

Jamaica's Raine Paulson -Andrews swam a BIG EAST conference ”B” cut finals time posting a seasons best 100 Y Freestyle time of 54.59 (1:02.03 long course) in an exhibition swim for Notre Dame. Notre Dame beat Oakland University in their dual meet. In another exhibition swim Raine clocked 25.05 (28.47) for the 50 Y Freestyle. Cayman Islands Laura Strafford also swam two exhibition events posting 1:02.53(1:10.66) in the 100 Y Back and 2:14.71(2:33.08) for the 200 Y I.M.

Raine helped a Notre Dame relay team to 4^th place in both the 200 Y Medley and Freestyle relays. In the 200 Medley, she clocked 26.70 (30.00) for the Butterfly leg as her team did 1:52.23 (2:07.53). In the Free relay, she swam third and clocked 25.11 (28.53) as her team touched in 1:42.97 (1:56.15).
