COORDINATOR
The Amateur
Swimming Association of Jamaica seeks to identify suitable candidates to fill
the position of Facilities Coordinator
for the National Stadium Pool complex and the Bournmouth Bath (to be opened
later this summer). The ideal candidate would have already had proven
experience in facilities management and should additionally be able to display
good people and communication skills. Additionally, she/he would have been
trained at the tertiary level and should possess the ability to relate
effectively to personnel at all levels of the organization. The successful
candidate will be sent on a Pool Management Course.
The Core
objectives for and duties associated with this position are to manage all the
activities at the physical plant of the National Stadium Pool including
maintaining oversight of the gate and rental operations of the facility so as
to maximize revenue, minimize cost and provide the best possible customer
service. This would be achieved mainly,
By developing
and maintaining control over a suitable maintenance program for the swimming
pools, buildings, sanitary facilities and its environs to meet standards as
defined by the ASAJ.
By developing,
implementing and coordinating appropriate usage guidelines and schedules for
users of the facility,
By effective
management of the maintenance budgets, as well as gate and other revenue
operations.
