divided into two phases; qualification and team selection. In the
qualification process, the names of swimmers who have met the qualification
requirement will be gathered. The final team will be selected will be made
by a selection committee whose decision will be submitted to Amateur

Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA), who has final authority.

ensure that the relevant information providing proof of qualification is
submitted prior to the qualification deadline. The ASAJ will not be held
accountable for information not in its possession.

criteria is “AA” times, then either the 50 M long course or 25 Y short
course may be used.
3.
When considering final team selection, times will be convert to
appropriate course (pool length) equivalents using the Hy-Tek conversion
