“AB” LONG COURSE CLASSIC – 27-29 OCTOBER 2006

 

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

Defending Champions, Tornadoes Swim Club will seek to retain the championship trophy as the Amateur Swimming Association of Jamaica (ASAJ) stages its season opener for the 2006/07 Swim Year, the “AB” Long Course Classic.  The Meet runs from Friday, 27 October to Sunday, 29 October 2006 and will also serve as a qualifier for swimmers who wish to be a part of Jamaica’s delegation to upcoming Meets for 2006/07.

 

Strong competition is expected from the approximately 350 swimmers from 8 Clubs, including several of the swimmers who participated in the recently held Leah Martindale Stroke Clinic.  Also participating is Kathryn Keane from Trinidad, who won the Girls 8 and Under High Point Trophy at the ASAJ Summer Age Group Championship and Justin George of England.
