A)FULL MEMBERSHIP shall be open to Clubs actively engaged in competitive swimming promoted by the Association, the membership of which Clubs must include a minimum number of active swimmers such number to be decided by the Council. 'Clubs' for the purposes of Full Membership shall include school as represented through their respective Headmasters or Headmistresses' Associations.

B)ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP shall be open to Clubs, Schools, as represented through their respective Headmasters or Headmistress's Associations, and other Associations and Organizations engaged in swimming pursuits they may not be actively engaged in competitive swimming promoted by the Association, whose membership need not include at least five (5) active swimmers.

C)HONORARY LIFE MEMBERSHIP On the Council's recommendation to a General Meeting, that meeting may award Honorary Life Membership to persons who in their opinion, have rendered outstanding service to swimming. Honorary Life Members shall have the privilege of attending at General Meetings of the Association but are not entitled to vote. If, however, such persons attend as bona-fide representatives of Affiliated Clubs paid up in full, they shall be entitled to vote.

D)INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP The Council may admit to Individual Membership such persons (or Firms) who may wish to contribute financially to the Association and who have an interest in the promotion of swimming but do not wish to participation in the activities of the Association. Individual Members shall be admitted to membership by a two-thirds majority vote of the members of the Council provided that not less than twelve Council Members are present.
Individual Members shall pay an annual subscription of not less than FOUR DOLLARS ($4.00).

Individual Members may attend and participate in General Meeting of the Association but shall not be allowed to propose motions or to vote.
