CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEE TO BE COUNCIL MEMBER
The Council shall appoint for each of these Committees a Chairman. The Chairman of all Committees shall be members of the Council.

FUNCTIONS OF COMMITTEES
Under the policy direction of Council, these Committees shall :-
a) advise the Council on any matter that has been referred to them by the Council for their consideration;
b) make recommendations to the Council on any matter which concerns the carrying out of their particular duties;
c) carry our programmes or projects which have received the assent of Council;
d) take any reasonable action necessary to carry out their responsibilities provided that such actions do not deviate from the rules adopted by the Council and the rules of FINA;
e) report regularly to Council of the progress or otherwise in relation to their duties.
