Coach Development
National Coaches are expected to actively participate in the Coaches seminars scheduled by the ASAJ. National Coaches may occasionally be required to attend seminars/clinics overseas to enhance their own development.
To assist in the development of Coaches in Jamaica, two (2) additional coaches will be invited to participate in the National Squad training sessions and clinics (when held in Jamaica).
The 'Invitee' coaches will be selected as follow:

- A pool of 6 coaches will be selected each October (add hoc invitees will not be considered in this number).
- The Council, considering the recommendations of the, Technical Committee and National Head Coach will name the coaches.
- Coaches who have swimmers on the National Squad will have first priority.
- Coaches must have attained Level XX coaches certification.
- Participation will be on a rotation basic unless otherwise agreed unanimously.
- Invitee Coaches will not receive financial remuneration or allowance unless invited to perform a specific function and the fees are agreed and sanctioned by Council e.g. to conduct a swim clinic.

The National Head Coach may on an add hoc basis, at his/her discretion, invite additional coaches to participate.
