PROFILE – CAPT. JOHN EYRE PRESIDENT ASAJ

Born in St. Andrew Jamaica, he was educated at Knox College (70-71), Ardenne High (71-72) and St. Andrew Technical High (72-75). He then pursued aviation related studies at Northrop University in Los Angeles, California before obtaining his Airline Transport Pilots Licence in Florida.
|
Capt. Eyre is employed by Air Jamaica as the Manager Flight Operations Quality Assurance and is also a Captain on the Airbus A310 aircraft.
Eyre first sat on the ASAJ Council as Club representative and President of the Tornadoes Swim Club (93-94). He was elected as 1st Vice President in 1994, President 1997 and re-elected in 1999.
