SWIMJAMAICA GRADUATE EMILY MacDONALD PARTICIPATES IN THE PAN AM SPORTS TRAINING CAMP

SwimJamaica congratulates Jamaica’s four representatives who are currently participating in the 2nd Edition of the UANA Pan Am Sports Training Camp for Swimming at the Albergue Olimpico in Salinas, Puerto Rico. 36 swimmers and 16 coaches representing 20 National Federations are participating in the Camp. The Jamaicans are swimmers; SwimJamaica graduate Emily MacDonald, Michael Gunning and Sidrell Williams who were accompanied by Coach Lynval Lowe.

The camp will last two weeks, with very intense and specific training sessions in the water and on land. In addition to the regular practices all participants are attending theoretical classes with nutritionists, psychologists, strength and condition trainers and more.


UANA is a regional body responsible for overseeing the development of the Aquatic Sports in North, Central and South America, including the Caribbean.
